Features: Gardel's fourth picture with Paramount. A light comedy located in a Tango Bar in Barcelona, Spain. The film also includes a couple of funny episodes on a transatlantic vessel. New York Variety Magazine qualified it as a 'pleasant musical comedy'. As 'The day you love me', the cast included Rosita Moreno, attractive and efficient; Tito Lusiardo (who prided in having repaired chairs for Gardel and Razzano while working at Teatro Nacional twenty years earlier); and Enrique de Rosas, an already renowned Argentinean actor who played a major role in the film.
WARNING: Being collector's movies and due to the fact that the complete footage of the original master has been transferred to this format, there may be image or sound defects carried over from the original version. |
