Features: Cndombe is a documentary that reflects the lifestyle of an Afro-Uruguayan culture present in Montevideo, Capital of Uruguay. This culture which comes from African slaves that were brought to the coast of the Rio de la Plata, live now in an environment of permanent music and dance. Their music is based on drum beat and their dances are represented by a series of typical characters: "La Mama Vieja", "El Escobero", "El Gramillero" and "Los Bailarines".
Candombe gets deep into the world of these people and the most important and distinguished personalities of candombe: Juan Angel Silva, Juan Velorio, Marta Gularte, Fernando Muñoz y Lágrima Rios.
